We are a non-profit organization, based in Xanthi. The purpose of the organization is to help people to either restart or reintegrate into society.
A few words about the organization…
“restart” is an organization that will support abused women (either physically, psychologically, or verbally), people who are addicted (to substances, gambling) and people with difficulties by providing them with free psychological support, giving them the impetus to do a new beginning with firmer foundations.
“The goal of the organization is to empower people to “come forward” and take the next step, leaving behind the cloak of fear and insecurity and reintegrating into society”
We all have problems
The difference is in the approach. The goal of the restart is to help the way of thinking so that everyone can deal with any issues/problems successfully.
The human brain works like a computer. Depending on the data we give it, it acts! Unfortunately, many of us have the wrong data. We are here to “restart”.
Thoughts often lead us to wrong conclusions. In general, thoughts are cunning, they are capable of playing with our minds. We are here to help you with techniques to control your thoughts.
Abusive behavior (whether verbal, physical or psychological) for the one who has it mainly expresses experiences, traumas, remnants of his own. Most of the time people who are violent have experienced a similar situation. They are people who have not received love when they do not know how to give. restart is here to help with deep traumas and experiences.
Depression is often caused by the no’s we didn’t say… We are here for you to realize and see deep within. The waters of depression are dark. ut depression is the voice of the soul crying out for help. We are here to journey together into your darkest places and light them up.
Addiction is often the way out of our everyday life. Usually addicted people (gambling, drinking, substances, power, etc.) resort to a passion which becomes an addiction and through this they avoid reality. We are here to untangle this tangle step by step and find its end.
No child by nature wants to be a bad kid, a bad student, a bad friend. No child likes to be scolded. This shows us that the child has some fundamental issues! t’s not that he doesn’t want to, it’s that for some reason he can’t. So we are here to help parents deal with their child in ways that we will show them and that will be helpful.
Restart!
People who turn to the organization will have the opportunity to find a warm, calm, safe home (from real estate that will be provided through member donations, etc.) but also a job so that they can become strong and independent.
Finding a job will be done by the organization, which in communication with the local community will be constantly aware of job opportunities in the city.
The plan of the organization is for some people to live together so that in case of need, one can support the other.
Of course, in addition to housing and work, free psychotherapy will be offered for any injuries that may have been caused. Our innovation will be that for the first time in Xanthi, treatment will be done with the help of animals, that is, there will be a therapeutic contact with animals with the aim of improving sociability, sensitivity, the sense of responsibility, but also to reduce anxiety, insecurity , depression, etc. Through the sessions, in groups and individually, there will be a discussion of the issue that concerns them and then the appropriate directions will be given to deal with each issue.

In short, the goal is to gradually but steadily improve the living conditions of the people who will turn to the organization, providing them with all the appropriate weapons to be able to face the next day with courage.
